Synopsis: The Vibratex Starburst is a very powerful clitoral vibrator which includes two soft head attachements for further play options.
Over 10 years ago, we began our sex toy adventures with the humble Pocket Rocket. A simple, one speed "massager," the Pocket Rocket quickly introduced real orgasms into our marriage, sending us on a quest for good vibrations the world over. Though we've seen countless - and we do mean countless - knockoffs and downright forgeries of this venerable sex toy, our original continues to operate after all the intervening years to present. There are better vibrators, cheaper vibrators, more elaborate vibrators, and so on; however, none have stolen our hearts (and libidos) quite like the original.
Of course, that was until we ran into the Vibratex Starburst. This little vibe is nothing new, either, quite frankly, but with a top notch Japanese build quality, double battery powered motor, extra accessories, and waterproof design, we finally bid farewell to our trusty Rocket and welcomed the Starburst into our bedroom.
Measuring approximately 7" in length and taking two AA batteries, the Starburst, as mentioned previously, is a waterproof vibrator capable of intense sensations whether in our out of the shower (hot tub, anyone?). It comes with two handy elastomer head coverings, which can dampen the vibrations if they get a little too extreme for your average clitoris. We rather like the small tentacle'd tipped option (pictured at right), which can also be great for ticking other body parts - nipples being our favorite. As we said, the quality of the motor assembly - manufactured in Japan as opposed to China - is excellent. We imagine it will be years before seeking a replacement.
In operation, the Starburst simply does the job. The power matches or exceeds the Pocket Rocket, meaning deep groans of delight when you bring it to life, and the extra long shaft makes it easy to hold when using either solo or during partner play. We would've appreciated a tad less noise, but the buzz was drowned out by our own intimate noises, regardless. We recommend closing the door if you have sensitive ears about!
In summary, there's nothing not to like about the Starburst and we give it our unqualified endorsement.
