Synopsis: A hand-crafted glass dildo that changes colors in
differing levels of light.
Our Review:
It's always cool to try new glass things! And it's even more so
when the items are made right here in our neighborhood in Venice,
CA. Thanks to the Bonk Master, we were introduced to a local glass
blower who asked if we'd like to see some of his handiwork. The
first piece he showed us was unlike any glass sex toy we'd ever
seen and we immediately begged him to let us try it out.
The Magic Swirl
is a banana-shaped glass dildo, measuring about 7-7.5" in length,
with a diameter of 3/4" at the tip, 1" up the length of the shaft,
and 1.25" at the top of the piece, where it forms a ball. Running
up the shaft are turquoise raised swirls that can provide clitoral
stimulation or an interesting penetration sensation when inserted.
The ball on the end makes a great holder or can be used for yet
another great penetration feeling when inserted. The tapered tip
is great for either anal or vaginal penetration.
The first time I
used the Swirl was luckily with Freddy involved and I instructed
him in movements I enjoyed, before letting him experiment with
different angles and speeds to see how far he could take me. My
favorite use, by far, was light anal penetration while Freddy made
love to me doggy style and the Swirl sent me into outer space in
no time flat! By far the coolest feature, though, is the way this
toy changes colors. When you hold it up to different levels of
light (or in front of a candle) it transforms from Turquoise to
all sorts of different hues and colors. Bright light turns is a
deep orange, for example, while our candles made it purple. The
artist assures us that no two pieces are exactly the same, so
expect the color changes to be subtly different in each one. I
haven't yet used the Swirl solo, but I can't wait to do so!
In summation,
this wand ROCKS! It's one of the most gorgeous glass toys we now
own and we love the fact that selling them directly helps someone
in our community.
