I've heard good things but could never bring myself to purchase a one-time-use masturbator. As frequently as I...take matters into my own hands...it just doesn't make any sense to me. But receiving it as a gift was another matter entirely. Now, this isn't my first rodeo. As an owner of four Fleshlight inserts and having tried a couple of other inferior products in the past I was anxious to see where the Tenga would stack up.
My first impression was that it's very sleek and light. It couldn't be easier or more convenient. Just unwrap the package, remove the cap and air hole tab and that's seriously it. You'll find it's already pre-lubed and ready to go.
Expectantly, it was cold upon insertion. However it did warm up after a minute or two. It felt pleasant enough, though nothing terribly special. As I began stroking I thought that the Fleshlight was superior. There was an annoying scratching sensation near the opening and while I was enjoying myself it was distracting. "The Fleshlight doesn't have this annoying sensation at the base," I thought. Things sorta got away from me and after another minute upon an "out" stroke out came this wet, fuzzy piece of foam. I still have no idea what it is/was for (lube distributor?) as I can find no mention of it on the product description or diagram. However this is what is known as a "happy accident." Whether or not it's supposed to say in side the Tenga or not the sensation with it removed was magnified and instantly I was in heaven. Gone was the annoying scratchy sensation and I said hello to lubed silky smoothness. With this removed I could now focus solely on the magnificent nubs and ribs, ridges and waves that line the interior. Very quickly I got to the edge and had to stop. After this new discovery I didn't want this to be over so quickly. Even better was that due to the increased pleasure, I became harder and bigger than before which then allowed me to reach the "Oh Wow What The Heck Are These" head nubs deep inside. These felt a bit sharper than the nubs that rub and caress your shaft but the sensation just WORKED. Now it was even harder to maintain control as I presently had the option of shallower, smoother strokes or longer, head-stimulating ones. The option and changing sensations on seemingly every stroke were very exciting and kept my cock from getting too "used" to one feeling or another. It was magnificent.
Orgasm: Unfortunately, with my Fleshlights while my orgasm tends to be explosive and powerful, for some reason I also experience a sharp pain, which takes away from my climax. It's a bit disappointing (and annoying), even though it's still satisfying. My orgasm in the Tenga was pain-free and very, very intense (likely aiding this was the hour or so I spent edging with it beforehand). Bottom line is that the orgasm I experienced with the Tenga Lip Service 6.0 was the best I've felt with any masturbator.
A quick note about the air hole: Unlike the Fleshlight, which uses a screw cap to control air flow, you really only have two suction options with the Tenga: 1) Air hole open/no suction OR 2) Air hole closed (by putting finger over it)/complete suction. If regulating suction is high on your list, you probably will be disappointed. It really didn't affect me at all as the Tenga is snug enough. I did experiment with closing the air hole with my finger, which did produce a nice, tight seal and varied experience. However I found I enjoyed the Tenga the most with the air hole uncovered.
Quick note about the lube: While cold at the onset there was plenty inside and it warmed up quickly. I never had to apply it, either, which was nice. Very effective lube that felt great with the product.

After removing the weird foam ring, the Tenga Lip Service 6.0 was THE best feeling masturbator I've come across. I'm usually very critical but I'd give it a perfect 10 if not for the stupid one-use-only construction. I'm now very curious to try the other models as well as the reusable Tenga Flip Hole. I maintain that one-time-use masturbators are still a poor idea and not cost-effective for frequent strokers, however if you're bored with the same 'ol stuff, in the market for something unique or just want to treat your dick to a session of unparalleled pleasure I highly recommend giving one of these a shot. You'll be glad you did.
Freddy Say: I had almost identical results as our reviewer, but was able to carefully clean mine out and get three more uses out of it. Still, that's no excuse for making something purposefully disposable when environmental concerns are plaguing the planet. I was able to remove the plastic outer shell and recycle it, which further mitigated the impact.
