Synopsis: Another heavyweight in the Gear Essentials line of cock
rings.
Our Review: With
a collection of cock rings that would have even the most avid
aficionado envious, I've now become accustomed to wearing them on
a regular basis, even assigning certain rings to certain
situations. For example, if Eddy and I are going out to a nice
restaurant for dinner, I don my
Imperial; when out and
about casually shopping, a
Titan .2 or .4 usually finds its way around my package. When I
really want to KNOW my ring is there? The hulking
Omega is the obvious
choice. When in the sack making mad passionate love to Eddy, I
almost always reach for my Titan .6, as I find its the perfect
balance between weight and elegance. My chosen finish is usually
brushed metal, but lately the charcoal and mirror versions have
crept into my repertoire, with Eddy leaning toward charcoal when I
ask her to choose.
In all this
time, however, there has been one model I'd yet to wear. Occupying
a place in weight somewhere between the Imperial and Omega, the
Gear Master ring has always escaped my inner sanctum for no other
reason than my immense satisfaction with all my others. In other
words, there just didn't seem to be a reason to put one on. It's
industrial look (and I'm sure I'll catch hell for saying this)
just seemed a bit too, well, gay. Or, at the very least,
bondage-ish. The styling is very industrial, with only a slight
bevel and an almost squared edge, suitable for a night out in
Hollywood, rather than my snobby Westside LA territory. And, since
I'm lacking in leather outfits and spike collars, I just-as-soon
throw on some nipple clamps and pierce my foreskin before donning
the Master.
Ah, but how
surprised I was when the lovely Eddy dusted off a Master and
thrust it toward me one fateful evening in February of this year;
how could I refuse? And the rest, (warning - cliché coming!) as
they say, is history. I put it on before heading to our trusty
neighborhood sushi haunt (Wabi Sabi, on Abbott Kinney) and have
since given it a place of equal standing alongside all my others.
The weight is very close to the Omega - I could hardly tell the
difference - with styling leaning toward the Imperial when in
place. It turns out the look wasn't industrial at all, but more
toward "manly" than anything else. The bevel surrounding the inner
and outer corners make for a very comfortable experience and the
squared design prevented it from falling off, as sometimes can
happen with the donut-shaped Omega. And, unlike both the Omega and
Imperial, the Master is available in the charcoal finish, which is
the version I now wear most often. I don't know if I've mentioned
that my other rings have been outfitted with diamonds (a good
jeweler is required), but I can't wait to do the same with the
charcoal, as I'm sure a gleaming diamond against the black will
look amazing.
In summation, I
can't believe I waited so long to review this ring. It really does
combine the best of both the Omega and Imperial rings into a very
masculine and functional piece of body beautification. Highly
recommended!
