 If
you're familiar with our reviews, you know that I've ingested just about
every so-called aphrodisiac ever produced, with mostly disappointing
results. The only exception to this rule has been
Tribulus, which isn't even advertised as
a sexual enhancer nor marketed as such (and I only learned about it through
a bodybuilder friend of ours). And so it was with a "ho-hum" that I accepted
the little sample packets of this latest 'wonder pill' at this year's
Erotica LA Show and shoved it in our goodie bag.
The next day, I thought, "What
the hell?" and went ahead and took the two pills at approximately 10am to
see what would happen. And bafflingly enough, for the next 8-10 hours, I
felt not only like someone had forced 8 cups of coffee down my throat in one
shot, but the need to rip my wife's clothes off for every minute of that
time period. Not only that, but I had no desire to consume any sort of food,
either. As for sex, I had the same effects as I had gotten with Tribulus
(harder and longer), but with a bit more energy. I decided to try the same
thing the next day and experienced similar results.
A look at the ingredients
tells the story:
Yohimbe
Yohimbe increases the amount of blood that is allowed to flow into the penis
and prevents blood from flowing out of the penis. It can cause an erection.
It also dilates blood vessels, thus intensifying sensual tactile responses.
Horny Goat Weed
Horny Goat Weed is known to raise adrenaline and dopamine levels. Increased
dopamine levels in the body can set off a chain reaction that leads to a
release of testosterone, the male sex hormone. Other benefits are an
increased sensitivity in nerve endings
Damania
Damania is probably the most widely used component in herbal 'Viagra
alternative' remedies, aphrodisiacs, love potions, and impotence cures. The
ancient Mayans used Damania for it's "giddiness", and in the years following
the European conquest of Central and South America, Damania has been
associated with improving sexual functions in both males and females.
Siberian Ginseng
Siberian Ginseng has demonstrated clinical improvements in virility among
men, and effected improvements in conditions of sexual dysfunctions for both
sexes. It's among the most ancient of aphrodisiacs, whose Asian origin can
be traced back thousands of years.
Tribulus Terrestris
Tribulus Terrestris, an herb grown in various parts of the world is used
medically for it's virility effects, notably by showing an increase in
testosterone levels. It exerts its testosterone elevating effect through the
increase in luteinizing hormone (LH). LH is responsible for "telling" your
body to produce testosterone.
Muira Puama
Muria Puama is alleged to be effective against a multitude of symptoms,
including impotency, frigidity, menstrual cramps, premenstrual syndrome, and
restoration of libido. It's long standing reputation as an effective
aphrodisiac stems form the northeastern parts of Brazil.
Maca
From Peru, for centuries Maca has traditionally been used as an aphrodisiac
to increase energy and male seminal fluid volume, vitality, and erectile
dysfunction. For women use includes regulation of menstrual inconsistencies,
diminished hot flashes and mood swings, and alleviates decreased sexual
moods.
Whorehouse Tea
Whorehouse Tea (Ephedra) is a potent aphrodisiac made popular by the many
brothel's that served it to their customers in the 1800's. It's an effective
energy booster, increases sensitivity to touch, and adds stimulation to
sexual resolution.
It was
obvious the ephedra was responsible for the energy surge, while the
Tribulus put the "hard" in my hard-on. I
can't attest to all the other stuff (I tried and reviewed
Horny Goat Weed
on its own, for example, and got nothing out of it), but I can say that this
product definitely had me thinking about, then performing sex with energy
and vigor. They claim it also affects women the same way, so we'll be
