Synopsis: A 12" diameter rubber ball with a realistic dildo
attached.
Our Review: This
was a bit of a departure for us, as we normally like items
that rumble, purr, and need batteries to operate. However, Eddy
felt it time to expand her horizons and choose a product truly
different from those that have, um, come before.
And so, with that
mission in mind and our friends at
Wild in Secret willing to put forward the goods, she chose the
Easy Rider. This product is an inflatable ball with a poll
attached, upon which you can mount a variety of dildos in
different sizes, based upon Doc Johnson's (the manufacturer) "Vac-u-lock"
system, which ensures easy changes with a sure fit, as well as
compatibility with other Doc Johnson products utilizing Vac-u-lock.
With about a week
to go in April, we finally decided to try the Easy Rider, so Eddy
removed it from its packaging and started to blow. It took quite a
bit of doing to fully inflate the ball (about the size of a
standard playground kick ball), but mounting the 6" dildo was no
problem and the Vac-u-lock worked as promised, holding the
penetrating penis in place securely. We whipped out some
Divine lube and down on
the living room carpet Eddy went.
Why the carpet?
Remember the large inflatable balls we had as kids, with handles
attached on which we could bounce around the house for hours?
That's a good analogy to this product. To properly use it, Eddy
was to place it on the floor, get on her knees, and lower herself
onto the dildo. Then, using her hips, she would rotate on top of
the ball, rolling it around to create pleasurable responses. For
my part, I just sat back and watched as she tried to put it all
together.
The first problem
we encountered was the size of the dildo. Though the order form
said "6 inch," our eyes told us something different. This was a
VERY big and think 6-inch, without much "give," and Eddy could not
get it in without experiencing pain. Lots of lube and a great deal
of patience later, she finally was able to get about
three-quarters of the way down, at which point she could then
rotate the ball on the floor with a little bit of hip action.
Though interesting, the product was quickly replaced by the real
thing and we finished the evening hot and bothered. Perhaps if
we'd had a smaller attachment, things would've gone better.
Nevertheless, we did have fun.
In summation, we
are giving the product a qualified "thumbs-up," due to its
inventiveness and quality of construction. Unfortunately,
the size was a bit too much for Eddy (she's a very petite 5 foot 2
Asian gal), but she's very interested in continuing to use the
product, perhaps with smaller attachments (we understand there are
many available or in the works). We're also going to send one to a
friend who loves large sized toys and will update this review
after she tries it.
