Synopsis: The
website of Thomas Roche, a well published erotic author and jack of all
trades in the erotica industry; lots of content to peruse and enjoy.
Our Review:
I am
absolutely sure I've read some Roche before I ever knew who he
was. After all, I'm fairly certain that at one point in my life I
owned Maxim Jakubowski's Mammoth Book of Erotica, which of course
Mr. Roche is published in.
There is so much content
in this website it's hard to know where to start. Navigation is
easily handled by the menu on the left, including such spiffy
categories as Bibliography (no, really, I'm not kidding – if you
look at it you'll probably realize you've read at least one story
written by him) and a nicely done photo gallery.
Although the site seems like a
weblog of sorts (the real blog is available through the menu too) it's full
of pictures and articles and reviews and… and…
I haven't been able to get through
the entire site yet, but already I'm addicted to it. Mr. Roche leads a life
that leaves me gaping in awe. The knowledge and creativity in his mind as
well as his down to earth attitude are shown with matter-of-fact honesty all
over the site, and the more I read, the more I want to meet this man and
drink coffee until the wee hours of the morning with him.
In all honesty, this site is so well
rounded it's hard to say who would like it best. So I won't, and instead
I'll just recommend that everyone shoots over there at least once to judge
for themselves. The articles alone will serve to keep you busy for quite
some time; though Roche is a great fiction writer, he's an even better
nonfiction artist. Ranging from his opinions on pro-anorexia sites to simple
yet effective pistol reviews, Roche keeps the reader's attention and lets it
go only when he's finished.
In summation, go. Read. Read more.
Stare at great pictures. Leave with new topics of conversation brewing in
your head. Just don't start those conversations while you're breathing hard
in bed… |
