Our Review: It's
not often we agree on video titles, which makes finding
couples-appropriate titles we can watch together often difficult,
if not vexing. "Forbidden Tales," for example is one of Eddy's
absolute favorites; and, while I'm a huge fan of Tera Patrick, the
film is just TOO much Tera and not enough of anything else.
"Awakening," with Inari Vachs,
I found to be one of the best titles I've ever seen, with a plot
that makes sense, decent
acting, and great sex scenes. Eddy's take? "Ho-hum."
Which brings us to
this current title. This video is actually a collection of sex scenes from various
titles sold separately by the
Alexander
Institute, which contains over three hours of footage from their vast library of over 40 titles. Though the educational videos are great, stripping out the full sex scenes is almost too good to be true. Only
two of the female participants are recognizable porn stars (at
least for us) and even they are toned-down and less explicit than
you'd expect in a mainstream porn title. Most of the participants are
pretty plain and ordinary looking (you know, like real couples are), which added a nice touch of
amateurism to the whole thing. Actually, almost all of the scenes
are one-on-one sex, with a few girl/girl and girl/guy/guy scenes
sprinkled throughout. It's all filmed softly and lovingly, without
any of the exploitive elements of a good majority of today's adult
films. If you're looking to try an adult film for the first time
or introduce your partner to adult films, this is probably the
best one you'll find anywhere.
Though we liked ALL
of the segments and were turned on continually (there's not ONE
section we made it all the way through without ripping into each
other), our favorite two were definitely the Chona and Charlie
scenes. First, both ladies are amazingly beautiful; second, they
are with attractive mates in every scene. Chona, who's Asian,
doesn't go further than girl play and masturbation, but Charlie
and her very good-looking husband team up for GREAT sex scenes in a
workout room, on top of a washing machine, in the shower, and even
a dual masturbation adventure. The various segments even delve into
female ejaculation and an interracial 3-way fantasy in a hot tub
(with different participants). However, we must say, just the Charlie scenes
beat almost every porn movie we've seen.
A few words of
warning; for those looking for hardcore and rough sex, anal
scenes, double penetration, or young teens, this is probably a
title to AVOID. The music is also very dated and "cheesy" and
might be bothersome if you like your soundtrack to match the
action. We have received a few complaints for recommending this
video and we want to warn you in advance that it's a FAR cry from
the polished porn productions of Wicked, Vivid, and the higher end
companies.
However, the
whole collection costs only 20 BUCKS! OVER THREE HOURS for only TWENTY BUCKS. There simply isn't a better bang for your buck
